Yoga

Today was our first day of filming. It was trying and incredible all in one. We faced some challenges early on, our rental car broke down and couldn’t make it up the hill to Tacugama, and later we were rained out for 3hrs waiting for the rainy season showers to pass. It wasn’t easy, but it was great to see how people still pulled together. Worked through the rain and long hours, multiple takes and recordings. Being on a film set is all new to me, so different from working in a hospital. And while I DEFINITELY prefer being in a healthcare facility hands down (I don’t quite have the patience for the film life heheh), it was inspiring to see the strength and grace of our yoga instructors combined with the creativity and perseverance of Ayesha and Brighter Days foundation. They really got results today. This team is great.
